2 D scintigraphy is the method that creates two dimensional images. These include

Whole body and limited bone scans
This exam is frequently used for evaluation of the skeletal structures of the body
for various pathologies. Stress fractures, bone pain, malignant and nonmalignant
bone lesions, bone infections, and evaluation of the spread of cancer are just a

Thyroid scans
